Chris Chambers is an up and coming artist on the Canadian music scene. He has become a staple around the clubs in the west end of Toronto/Hamilton and is a growing presence on the summer festival circuit.
Having recently produced his first full length CD, Chambers is ready to make his mark through his unique sound which encompasses traditional blues styling mixed with strong influences of both country and driving rock rhythms.
Chris has been influenced by a variety of traditional stars including Albert Collins, Albert King, as well as such contemporary performers as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robben Ford and Charlie Sexton. The result is a unique sound that emphasizes his strengths on guitar and soulful vocals. Chambers is equally comfortable as a soloist playing his acoustic as he is electrifying his audiences fronting the Chris Chambers Band.
Chambers reputation is quickly growing through his appearances at well-established events such as the Canadian National Exhibition Blues Stage, Burlington Sound of Music Festival as well as the Come Together Music Festival. During his career he has opened for a variety of acts such as, Jack DeKeyzer, Morgan Davis, and Trooper; as well as having performed with players such as Matt Schofield. As a session musician, Chris has worked with Juno nominated Canadian producer Nick Blagona.
